Cheek Fill

Want high cheekbones that pop? Have you noticed more fullness in your lower face and want a little pick me up without going under the knife? This treatment takes years off your appearance and provides a youthful and defined cheekbone, while slimming the lower face.

What is the Cheek Fill?

The Cheek Fill is 1.0cc of a hyaluronic acid dermal filler called Voluma. The filler is injected along the cheekbone and mid face to replace lost volume and lift the skin/fat pads in the lower face. Place your finger along your cheekbone and gently lift. Pay close attention to what happens in your lower face as you lift. The lines that run from the corner of your nose to the corner of your lip (nasolabial folds) lift, as well as the downward turn of the mouth and lines that extend from the corner of your lips to your jawline (marionette lines).

How much does the Cheek Fill cost?

The Cheek Fill is $800 per syringe. Some clients only need 1 syringe, while others require 2 or more to achieve desired results. A good rule of thumb is if you’re in your 20’s, 1 syringe will work. People in their 30’s-40’s will likely need 2 syringes, and people over 50 may require 3 or more.

Want to build volume slowly and spread your treatments out? Completely fine! We also love Brilliant Distinctions and points can be used toward your treatment cost.

How long does the Cheek Fill last?

On average this product lasts 18-24 months. It is naturally broken down and metabolized by your body, therefore how long it lasts depends on your body’s metabolism.

How long will my appointment take?

The Cheek Fill takes approximately 30 minutes, from start to finish.

Does the Cheek Fill hurt?

A topical lidocaine is applied to the areas of injection for 10 minutes prior to your treatment. Most clients experience little to no discomfort.

Is there any prep for this treatment?

To minimize the chance of bruising and swelling we recommend you avoid any medication that thins your blood (ibuprofen, aspirin, etc) as well as alcohol for 3 days. If you are on prescription medication for blood thinning, please consult your doctor before stopping any medications. If you are prone to bruising/swelling it is recommended that you come well hydrated and start a course of Arnica Montana (a homeopathic remedy for bruising and swelling) several days before your treatment. They are available at WinterRidge and Sandpoint Super Drug.

Is there any downtime or recovery after this treatment?

Everyone is different, some clients have minimal to no swelling, and others swell more. It really depends on your individual physiology and body chemistry. It is best to plan on some bruising and swelling, especially the morning after your injections, which tends to be when you are the most swollen. For most clients the swelling is something that they notice, but not others. We recommend you sleep with your head elevated on 2 pillows the first night, stay hydrated, and begin ibuprofen AFTER your appointment. If bruising occurs a topical arnica gel can help to speed up the healing time.
