This peel is best suited for clients with mild to moderate skin imperfections.
How much does the Vitalize Peel cost?
The Vitalize Peel is $120. We also love Brilliant Distinctions and points that can be used toward your treatment cost.
How long do my results last after the Vitalize Peel?
The Vitalize Peel will give you a radiant and dewy look for up to a week, with long-term results of improved texture, coloring, and a decrease in fine lines/wrinkles. This peel can be repeated every 4 weeks, and optimal results are achieved after 3 to 6 peels.
How long will my appointment take?
The Vitalize Peel takes approximately 30 minutes.
Does the Vitalize Peel hurt?
As the Vitalize Peel is applied some clients experience tingling, stinging, and heat as the molecules activate in the top layers of the skin. This generally lasts approximately 2 minutes and a fan is aimed at your face to ease any discomfort. As your peeling begins you may experience some mild itching.
Is there any prep for this treatment?
It is important that you discontinue the use of retinol 7 days before and after your peel. A peel cannot be applied to sunburned skin or any open wounds, rashes.
Is there any downtime or recovery with this treatment?
The Vitalize Peel generally causes peeling 2 days after it is applied, with peeling lasting anywhere from 2-7 days. Some clients experience only mild flaking, while others shed like a snake. It depends on how much skin there is to exfoliate, as well as how in-depth we go with your peel. We can discuss and decide together at your appointment.
Are there any products I should be using at home?
We recommend using medical-grade skincare products all the time, and our favorites are SkinMedica and Skin Better Science. During your appointment, we can make recommendations based on your skin type and skincare concerns.
